Things are really starting to get out of hand in regards to airport security. A 6 year old girl was recently patted down by TSA agents after she had already gone through a scanner. The child’s parents say they asked why their daughter was being pat down after already being scanned, but the agents refused to even speak to them. If this is how we are going to live as a nation, so scared of terrorist attacks that we feel the need to take pictures of our citizens naked and pat down little kids just to board an airplane then the terrorists have already won. If the argument is that they have to check people at random or it’s racism then why didn’t they also search these people’s baby? If you’re going to search their 6 year old then what’s the difference between searching their baby? They both could be carrying something dangerous, right? The real questions that needs to be answered are, where does this end and when are people going to start fighting back against this abuse of power? Maybe when they start doing full body cavity searches?
